"Best picture is a result of a moment"
My name is Magdolna Gondon as a Freelance Award Winning Photographer.
I grew up in Hungary and became a teacher of Art and Geography teaching these subjects at a high school level. In my work I mix both art and geography together to create my unique world of pictures. While taking pictures about nature, kids, families and people I realized that photography became my true passion.
I was introduced to the general public as an amateur photographer in Hungary, but my interest in photo art grew with time both in Hungary and abroad. As a geography teacher I have traveled a large part of the seven continents where the natural beauties, forms of life, and cultural colors of the individual countries inspired me to eternalize some of the many unforgettable moments. At my university I held lecture about my travels incorporating many of my photos.
Twenty years ago when I moved to the States I accomplished a two-years Web Design program in the Institution of Science Technology and Marketing Corporation in Vienna, Virginia and I also took a Studio Portrait and Digital Photography course at the Northern Virginia Community College.
My photos reflect my thoughtful creativity, un-duplicatable moments, artistic ability with a mixture of beautiful light, colors, forms, joy, love, care and emotional feelings. I am not simply taking pictures but enjoy creating stories on my photos even with a cinematic approach. I love to invent and find new opportunities whether in the world of black and white or of color.
As a member of an International Photo Contest website (ViewBug.com) I have won many competitions and holding the highest number of awards as well.
My fantasy and creativity know no bounds and I enjoy each and every minute of my work. Taking pictures is my life, inspiration and passion. I'am currently reside in Sterling, Virginia.
